Clinical Supervision
Supervision Model
I utilize an integrative model of supervision as it relies on more than one theory and technique. This model allows for more flexibility as supervision can be tailored to the needs of the supervisee, giving attention to beliefs, values, and the therapeutic process. As a supervisor, it is my responsibility to provide the supervisee with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of her clients. I will highlight the supervisee’s strengths and offer constructive criticism when necessary. Upon conclusion of the supervision experience, the supervisee will be able to successfully assess, diagnose, and treat clients utilizing the most appropriate therapeutic model for each client. The supervisee can expect that I will attend all scheduled supervision meetings, provide feedback during the meetings, review all client notes, and complete a formal evaluation at the conclusion of the supervision experience to satisfy final requirements of the supervisee’s counseling program or licensing board.
Attendance
Our scheduled meetings have been planned specifically for you; therefore, I expect supervisees to attend all meetings as planned. If a meeting must be rescheduled, please provide at least 24 hours notice.
Fees
Supervision meetings can be held virtually or in person. Individual supervision is $50/hour. Dyadic supervision ( 2 supervisees) is $40/person/hour. Group supervision (3 to 6 supervisees) is $30/person/hour.
